1963 On December 13th, the Town Council created the A.F.L.J, Association familiale pour les Loisirs de la Jeunesse, (Family Association for Leisure activities for Young people), with Mr. CORAIRI's help,(Mayor of St. Pierre-Quiberon), Mr. LE MEILLEUR was the chairman.. Its purpose was to organize sportive and cultural activities and so, promote Sport and Culture in the city. 1964 During its General Meeting, the A.F.L.J. decided to change its name to " SPORT and CULTURE " and elected Mr. J.M. KERVADEC as President. The vocation of the association remained the same : stimulate the cultural life of the community and take care of young people. This same year was created the magazine of the association ,   '' EN AVANT '' 1968 Five years later, on December 6th, Mr. RICHARD, Mayor and the General Meeting decided to transform the cultural branch and create an independant association, "LOISIRS ET CULTURE ", (Leisure and Culture) which: -Animates a library (you'll find it at the former Post office) -Organizes excursions, conferences and events, (competition of photos, drawings, Christmas trees ...)
